fantastic little read

New Years Dream is another fantastic addition to the paranormal world Tyler May as created. This time we get to view things through the eyes of Zander and Billy. We also get to hang out a little more with some of the characters from Angel of Darkness.

New Years Eve is approaching and the Vampires consider this a very special night. A Birthday for them, so to speak. It is also considered by other’s to be a night that can bring out different types of powers in humans and paranormals alike. You just have to be willing to use it. The downside is, it’s only for a short amount of time.

Be ready for a sweet read where we can revisit the heartwarming and passionate relationship between Christian and Zander. I also fell a little more in love with Billy. He may seem so hard on the outside but he has a really big heart and he is starting to prove it. Wonderful little read that will have you psyched up for the next installment.

So if you haven't started reading this series you are definitely lacking and you must get with the program. This novella is just a glimpse of whats to come inthe continuation of this saga.

This book give you a complete and utter new respect for Billy. While both heartbreaking and truly from a plave of selfless love that Billy doesn't even comprehend he has his gift. Even though gives great pain can finally give him closure. Thw saying one door closes and another opens is a perfect phrase for where this book is starting to lead us.

True to tyler marys style she has lwft us salivating for what is still to come and it seems it wont be all Champaign and caviear but this book solidified the true circle of family the group has become and the bonds that tie them together strengthen greatly. Can't. Wait for the next book.

Billy touched my heart in this one. He is the type of friend you would want in you life. The gift he gave Zander and Christian will be one they will never forget! Hope Billy can find what he is looking for in Cash. Tyler you are a very talented author! Can't wait to see what happens next for Zander and Christian!!

Excellent Book!

I have never written a review before, however after I read the above review of this book I felt I should. This book was EXCELLENT! Not very many hunting books fall into that category or even an Ok category for me however I loved this book. Cameron goes over in detail types of gear needed for the back country along with great tips for lightening up your existing gear. Also covered are hunting tactics that have made my hunting more succesful. Can't recommend this or his other books on Blacktail hunting enough. If however you are not a die hard hunter who will go to any length for your hunt this book may not be for you.

Amazing Book!

By far the best book on bowhunting I've read. Could not put it down. I've literally stayed up into the wee hours of the morning pouring over it's pages. Great stories, terrific advice. Everything one could want in a bowhunting book. Unlike the rest. You will be glad you bought it. I liked it so much, I am buying a copy for my hunting partner. The only thingI'd love more than this book is the opportunity to go on a backcountry hunt with it's author, Cameron Hanes.

Excellent Book

One of the most inspirational books I've read lately. Written in a very laid-back, easy-to-read, conversational tone (at times, using slang and abbreviated terminology, almost too laid-back), it is hard to put down. When I find a 'system' that makes me the best in any given endeavor, I generally do not share it, but this book is written as if the author (Cameron Hanes) boldly and selflessly took all the knowledge and skill that makes him one of the best and assembled it into a reference manual for success. There are many books on equipment and strategies and tactics, but this book goes well beyond that - its primary goal is to tap into your most primal desire to be the best, and, subsequently and secondarily, hands you all the 'logistical' information (from mental and physical preparation, to equipment choices, to scouting techniques, to just about everything in between) in a very encouraging, motivational, handheld, mini-treasure trove of wisdom.

The author does come across as somewhat cocky at times, but to nowhere near the point of being bothersome or disruptive. If I had his accomplishments under my belt, humbleness would not be one of my attributes. Whatever level of cockiness may come across, it is well justified.

The book is assembled in a clean and contemporary manner. Clearly plenty of thought was placed on its lay-out. It is a pleasure to thumb through, and does not 'feel' like an old, stuffy white-guy put it together, like many hunting books do. It is well balanced with plenty of text and images.

The package's weakness is its DVD. It appears as if they had a bunch of left-over video clips from Eastmans' Bowhunting Journal videos and crudely assembled them together and threw them in with the book. If you get the copy of the book without the DVD, don't worry about it.

Final words: This book is inspirational to the degree that if you have no interest in bowhunting, or even hunting in general, I would still recommend it purely for its motivational power.

PS - Eastmans Publishing: Why the heck is this book not available anywhere?! You guys suck. Plase print some copies and send them out to ditributors and sellers. There definitely is a market and a demand for it. (Make it available for the Kindle, too!)
